Localfi – Upload Jobs Manually
Go to dashboard.localfi.ai. Enter the email and password you set up during registration.

Click the blue “plus” icon.

If you’re at the job now and you’d like Localfi to enter in your location automatically, allow the permissions. This may look different depending on your device and the browser you are using. If you accidentally disallow that but you change your mind, you can click the “Use my location” button. If you’re doing this at a later time, you can enter the location of the job manually. Either way, please make sure to enter a project name. Once everything’s filled out, click “Continue”.
If you’re at the job and you’d like to take some photos now, please select “Take Photos”. If you’ve already taken some photos, please select “Upload from device”. If you don’t wish to bother with any photos, you can click “Skip” and a default relevant photo will be selected for you.
Scenario 1 – Take Photos Now
First I’ll demonstrate the first scenario, which is where you’re at the job now and you’d like to take some photos. Select “Take Photos”. When the permissions selection comes up, please select “Allow”. Again, this may look different depending on your device and the browser you are using. Once you’ve got the shot lined up, select “Capture Photo”. Take as many as you’d like. If you’ve accidentally taken something you don’t care for, click the red trash can button. If you’d like to provide a description of the photos, you may do so. Once you’ve finished with your photos and descriptions, click continue.
Adjust the job date if necessary, enter a job description, and select a job type. Then click “Continue”.
Make sure all of the information is correct and select “Create Project”.
If you have another job to enter you can select Create Another Project. If not, you can select View All Projects and the one you just created will be there.
Scenario 2 – Add Photos You’ve Already Taken
The second scenario is, you’ve already taken some photos previously and you’d like to upload them. Select “Upload from device”. This part may look different depending on your device, but select the location of the photos. Then select the photos that you want to upload. For my device I have to click “Done”. Your device may be slightly different. Again, if you’d like to write descriptions you may. If you decide you don’t want to upload one of your chosen photos, click the red trash can button. Once you’re satisfied, click “Continue”.
As before, make sure the job date is correct, fill out a job description, and select a job type. Then click “Continue”.
Make sure all of the information is correct and select “Create Project”.
If you have another job to enter you can select Create Another Project. If not, you can select View All Projects and the one you just created will be there.
Scenario 3 – Skip the Photos
The third scenario is if you’d rather not bother with photos at all. One will automatically be selected for you. In order for your job to show up correctly on your website, one photo is required. This time you’ll select “Skip”.
As before, make sure the job date is correct, fill out a job description, and select a job type. Then click “Continue”.
Make sure all of the information is correct and select “Create Project”.
If you have another job to enter you can select Create Another Project. If not, you can select View All Projects and the one you just created will be there with a default photo that is related to the category you selected.
